Delete your D-WAY account

You can delete your account yourself at any time. It takes effect at once, on the web and in the app.

In the app

Open D-WAY and go to Profile › Settings.
Tap Delete account, type the word it asks for and confirm.

On the web

Sign in at dway.az › Settings › Delete account.
Type the word it asks for and confirm.

By email

If you can’t sign in, email [email protected] from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We do it within 7 days and reply when it’s done.

What is deleted

Your name, username, email address, country and password, the link to your Google account, and your sign-ins on every device.
Your tasks with their notes, files and photos.

What stays

What you shared with other people stays, under the name “Deleted user”, with nothing that leads back to you:

Your community posts with their photos, your comments and likes.
Your chats, for the people you talked with. Nobody can message the account any more.
Your places at events and your part in challenges, so their numbers stay right.
Feedback you sent, for the D-WAY team.

To remove posts or comments too, delete them before you delete your account. Files leave our storage within the hour; our encrypted backups, which may still hold your data, are deleted after 30 days. After deleting, you can sign up again with the same email address.
